This guide summarizes the reports you can find in the Resident Reports section of the Reports page, and discusses a few more that you can find in ALIS HQ. For more information about ALIS HQ, read this article: How To Use ALIS HQ.
- Access to many reports are limited to members of your staff with Community Administrator Security Roles. If you need help with access to reports, contact your administrator or ALIS Support for assistance.
- Many of these reports will contain more columns of data when you view them in Excel!
Find these reports on the Reports page in the Resident Reports section:
Ambulation Details
This report features the Ambulation status column and Ambulation Notes column for each resident.
These details are completed for residents in the Health Profile section of their Resident Profiles.
Assistive/Adaptive Devices
This report features columns for Hearing Aids, Dentures, and Additional Devices, and Device Notes for each resident. Use this report to summarize which residents use which devices.
These details are completed for residents in the Health Profile section of their Resident Profiles.
Classification Changes
This report features columns for Current Classification and any Old or New Classifications and Dates of Change each resident. This is useful if your community uses resident Classifications and needs to audit changes to Classifications.
- Classifications provides your community with an additional way to categorize or classify residents beyond their Product Type. An example of use is to distinguish Medicaid/Private Pay residents.
- Classifications Settings are configured on the Resident Settings page, and can be set for individual residents in the Basic Information section of their resident profile.
Compliance Details
This report provides details about the completion of Resident Compliance Items. For more information about Compliance, read this article: Completing Compliance Items.
If you select only one item in the Compliance Item filter and click the Refresh button, you have the Print Compliance Documents button available just above the table. This allows you to download a zipped folder of all your residents' completed documents for the filtered item. If you ever need to export all of a single item for all residents, this is the best option!
Contacts
Use this report to view all resident contacts and contact details. This allows you to filter for any contact attributes and verify that you have all the contacts you need for each resident.
- If you click Export to Excel, the different phone numbers, contact preferences, and notes will display as distinct columns for you to sort and filter.

- You can also create mailing labels for the contacts using this report. Read this guide for instructions: How To Create Mailing Labels for Resident Contacts.
E-Signature Activity
This report is useful to communities who use the E-Sign feature. This feature requires an addendum to your ALIS subscription. Use this report to audit and check the status of all documents sent from ALIS to signer email addresses.

Health Profile
This report includes all of the information in the Health Profile section of each resident's profile, making it one of the most important!
- On-screen in ALIS displays only the most prominent sections of the Health Profile: Primary Diagnosis, Secondary Diagnosis, Food Allergies, Medical Allergies, and Diet.
- Export this report to Excel to see columns for all of the other Health Profile sections.
Incident Report
This report provides a view of all Incident Reports during a filtered date range, including a summary at the bottom right for additional insights and trends.
- The Date Range filter is showing the entire current month by default.
- Export this report to Excel for more details about the tasks and task notes.
Insurance Report
This report shows all resident Insurance Policies that have been added to ALIS.
Resident Checklist
This report gives a unique range of columns to help determine if your resident profiles contain specific pieces of information.

Resident Diet Roster
This report shows all dietary-related columns. Click the Print button to create a document for your dining staff that includes the resident photos. The Food Allergies, Diet, and Alcohol Use columns are completed in the Health Profile section of the resident profile.
Resident Evaluation Completion
This report shows the status and care level impact of the most recently completed Evaluation for each resident, as well as their Care Plan details.
- To determine if a resident is up-to-date with their Evaluation, Service Plan, and Care Plan, verify the Status column displays Completed, the Care Level column displays a care level, and the Care Plan Status column displays Active.

Resident Leaves
This report shows you all records of residents being marked On Leave during a date range. Read this article for more information about On Leave statuses: How to Set a Resident "On Leave".
Resident Roster
This report contains dozens of details about your residents. On-screen in ALIS displays a section for each resident containing some details about their occupancy, contacts, and diet. Click the Export to Excel option to view over 40 columns of information about the resident.
For a more simple list of residents and a few basic details, go to the All Residents page and click the Print Resident List button.
Service Plan Needs Audit
This report provides an audit of all of your residents' Needs on their Service Plans and all of their active Recurring Charges. You can use this to reconcile your Service Plan details with the resident's billing details.
- If you have up-to-date Service Plans on each person, this report gives you a complete list of all the Needs (all the services your team provides!) for all residents.
- This also includes resident Care Levels, associated Care Fees, and point values associated with specific Needs.
- Below each resident's name, you can view the most recently completed Service Plan and their Recurring Charges section of their profile.
- If you click Export to Excel, you can easily sort by the name of the Need and see the frequencies of the services provided.
Vital Sign Details
This report makes it easy to filter for vitals records for all vital sign types and residents within a date range. Use the filters to look at all records within the date range for a specific resident or a specific set of vital signs.
- To print this report, right-click the page and select Print from the menu in your browser.

Vital Sign Summary
This report will show records of a single vital sign type for a single resident. The information is formatted on a basic graph and on a table below. Use this to visualize a resident's vital sign trends.
ALIS HQ Reports
The following reports are found on the ALIS HQ Page. These reports are visually-oriented dashboards that intend to give you a birds-eye view of all the data in ALIS for a single community, specific communities, a region/state, or an entire portfolio of buildings.
- If you do not have access to ALIS HQ or to some of the reports mentioned here, contact your administrator or ALIS Support for help.

- Below are a few examples of the HQ dashboards, but there are more available!
Census, Move-Ins & Move-Outs
This dashboard provides KPIs for census numbers and Product Type proportions, residents currently On Leave, Average Age of residents, Average Length of Stay, and Average Care Level Fee. Also included are details about Move-Ins and Move-Outs.
Shower Trending and Analysis
This dashboard is a template that shows care delivery details about a specific care task. This is specifically showing information about showers that are scheduled, but we can provide this report for any care task, such as Laundry or Meal Assistance.
- The information is organized into charts by time of day, day of the week, total number of showers per resident, and the number recorded by specific staff members.
- Use this information to plan future schedules for residents and staff.
Risk Management Dashboard
This dashboard shows KPIs related to incidents and lack of compliance with documenting medications, assessments, and care tasks. All of these numbers are ideal at their lowest value. You can use the dashboard as a guide to set safety goals and documentation-related goals at the building.
