When applying a strikethough, it is required to provide the reason. A strikethrough and its reason apply to all copies of a grouped note (one applied to multiple residents) and display for all associated profiles. Reasons show in-app only, not on printed PDFs. A new "Undo Strikethrough Observations" security role permission can be applied to administrator roles who may need to reverse a strikethrough. ![]() ![]() Contact your Account Manager for configuration assistance. Incident Summary Templates by TypeAs of our June 10 release, each incident type can now include a pre-fill template that automatically populates the Summary field when selecting the configured type during initial report creation. Set up templates in Incident Settings when managing or creating types. Templates apply to new incident reports only. Changing the incident type during report creation updates the pre-filled text. Any edits a staff member has already made are preserved. ![]() Free-text Custom Fields for IncidentsAs of our June 17 release, incident report custom fields now support free-text boxes or areas in addition to dropdown options. Custom text fields can be made optional or required. When enabled in Incident Settings → Custom Fields, staff can enter free-form descriptions when creating or backfilling an incident report for any date, rather than being limited to predefined dropdown choices. ![]() Resident Leaves: Scheduled vs. Actual Leave EndAs of our June 17 release, the Resident Leaves section on the resident profile now shows two distinct columns that match the Resident Leaves Report:
When editing a completed leave, the new Actual Return section lets staff correct the actual return date and time independently of each destination's scheduled end date, which is especially helpful for leaves entered after they have occurred. ![]() Global Search by Room Number and NicknameAs of our June 3 and June 17 releases, the top-navigation global search matches current residents and applicants by their assigned room number, in addition to name, client record number, email, and cell phone. Now also search by a person's nickname across all person types: Residents, Move Outs, Prospects, Contacts, Staff, and Referral Sources. ![]() ![]() Room Number in Evaluation Completion ReportAs of the June 3 release, the Resident Evaluation Completion report now includes a Room column between Resident and Product Type. The new column is visible on screen as well as in the Excel export and printed PDF. Shared rooms show bed designation (e.g., "101 A"), residents in multiple rooms show a comma-separated list, and unassigned residents show as "N/A". ![]() Record Vitals via Care TrackingAs of our June 10 release, caregivers can now record vital signs with scheduled and PRN care tasks. When adding or editing care items in Care Settings, a new "Vitals" outcome option lets administrators choose which vitals to capture: Temperature, Blood Pressure, Weight, Height, Pulse, Oxygen Level, Respiration, and Blood Glucose. These Record Vitals fields appear on the Record Care page of a specific care list and when recording PRN care. Vitals can be refused individually or in bulk. Recorded vitals and refusals automatically populate the Vital Sign Details and Vital Sign Summary reports for streamlined oversight. ![]() Contact your Account Manager for assistance with Care Settings configuration. ![]() Invoice PDF: #9 Business Envelope FitAs of our June 3 release, the Invoice PDF now positions the recipient address perfectly within a #9 business-envelope window and keeps the table headers clear of the window area. The PDF renders the comments and totals sections side by side so the footer stays on the same page as the line items when there is room. A single-page invoice fits roughly 10 line items with standard comments, or about 12 with shorter comments. ![]() "Show Move Out History" on the Rent RollAs of our June 10 release, the Rent Roll report now includes the checkbox option to Show Move Out History. When selected, a Move Out History section at the bottom of the report shows one row per historical room assignment for residents who changed rooms mid-month or moved out during the report period, with the Resident Days column reflecting days in each assigned room. These rows are included in the Excel export when the option is active. The checkbox is off by default, so the standard report is unchanged unless you opt in. ![]() More Profile Visibility for Transferred FundsAs of our June 24 release, transferred funds (Payments, Security Deposits, Credits) display on both the originating and receiving resident profiles. The Details column shows "Transfer Out/In" along with the other resident's name on both profiles. Transferred amounts do not affect either resident's balance. Transferred funds display on the profile by default so teams can review and audit the full transfer history alongside other billing details with ease. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fully Customizable Task Outcome TypesAs of our June 24 release, all task outcome types can be fully customized. Sales managers can now configure more specific, actionable outcomes for their teams to select when completing CRM tasks. Within CRM Settings → CRM Task Outcome Types, specifically edit and/or disable the "Activity Completed Ok" and "Activity Not Completed" outcome options. Historical task completions assigned the "Activity Completed Ok" and "Activity Not Completed" outcomes are unaffected. ![]() ![]() Floor Plan: Hide Applicants filterAs of our June 10 release, a new Hide Applicants checkbox is available in the Floor Plan to give community teams a live, accurate snapshot of current occupancy. When selected, applicants are no longer displayed. Rooms whose only occupant is a filtered-out applicant show as unoccupied. The filter uses the same applicant definition already applied in occupancy reporting, and it applies to both the on-screen view as well as Excel and PDF exports. ![]() Floor Plan: Smarter Room Sorting with LettersAs of our June 24 release, rooms on the Floor Plan now sort in the expected order when room names combine numbers and letters:
The new sort order is visible on the Open Room/Bed Census report and other applicable locations. This update affects on-screen display order only and does not change how room names are entered or stored. ![]() ![]() Company-level Report for Records RequestsAs of our June 10 release, the Records Requests tab now contains a link to a new company-level Records Requests Report that opens in a new tab and provides details of requests across all communities. Administrators can audit records requests and identify failed or incomplete items without reviewing each community individually. ![]() ![]() ![]() New Column in Resident Move-In Demographics ReportAs of our June 3 release, ALIS HQ users can now view county information directly within the Resident Move-In Demographics Report, providing additional resident demographic insights for reporting and analysis. A new "MI from County" column has been added to the report and displays the values from the "Moving in From Address County" field in the resident profile. Existing report columns and filters remain unchanged. ![]() Standardized Prospect Stage DataProspect dashboards in ALIS HQ now include a consistent set of stage-level detail columns: Days in Pipeline, Prospect Score (Hot, Warm, Cold), and Inquiry Date. Days in Pipeline is calculated from the prospect's inquiry date to either the current date or the date their stage was last updated. Any report that surfaces prospect stage information includes these fields, giving sales teams a unified view of pipeline health and prospect status across all reporting. Prospect Conversion Card ImprovementsThe Prospect Conversion card in the Prospects Dashboard has been updated with revised calculations for prospect counts, categories, and conversion rates. Drill-down now correctly filters to the selected segment, the Deposits category and total row are included in the breakdown, and card titles have been updated to reflect "Initial Tour" terminology throughout. Lease Start/End for Daily Occupancy MIMO ColumnsMove-In and Move-Out (MIMO) columns across all HQ occupancy reporting and the ALIS HQ Occupancy API endpoint now use lease start and end dates as the basis for counting. Bed and Doorknob MIMO data reflects whether a new lease started or ended on a given date, independent of co-occupancy. Communities that need occupancy-based MIMO counts can reference the Census-prefixed versions of these columns. Contact your Account Manager for assistance with HQ Reports enablement. ![]() ![]() ALIS integrates directly with TIM (Total Incontinence Management) to keep your resident census in sync across both platforms. When a move-in or move-out happens in ALIS, TIM Care is notified automatically so your team stays informed and your supply orders stay accurate. Ordering can be automated through the integration via the Resident Evaluation Tool! TIM has been recognized by Argentum as an innovative program that advances excellence and improves the future of senior living. Want to enable TIM or another integration? Reach out to info@go-alis.com to get started. NJHIN: Discharge and Admit Dates on ADT MessagesAs of our June 3 release, outbound ADT messages to NJHIN now include the discharge date on discharge events (and on follow-up updates once a resident has already been discharged). Every message that carries patient-visit information now contains the admit date, as required by NJHIN's specification. Both dates are sent in the community's local time, and each field is omitted when the underlying date does not exist in ALIS. Partner External Links on Monitoring Flags and IncidentsAs of our June 17 release, integration partners can now include a direct link to their source video or record when they push a monitoring flag or an incident into ALIS. When a link is provided, the partner's logo shows a hyperlink icon that opens the partner's page in a new tab on the flag, the incident report, and the incidents table. This allows clinical staff to jump straight to the source (for example, to validate a fall) before acting on it. Flags and incidents submitted without a link display the partner logo as before. Move Out Reason in Resthook WebhookAs of our June 17 release, the Move Out webhook payload delivered through all ALIS resthook integrations (for example, via Zapier) now includes the resident's Move Out Reason so move-out automations can use the reason. ![]() Click HERE to view our list of bug fixes in the last month's releases.![]() Conference ScheduleOur team is hitting the road again, and we couldn't be more excited!
