If your community has more than one med cart, we should add these to ALIS and then assign each resident to one of the carts. This will allow your med pass team to filter for the specific cart they are working on during their shift.
You can contact us to add your med carts. If you have access to the Medication Settings, read this article to learn how you can add the med carts: Medications Settings.
Once the carts are added, you should assign each resident to one of the carts. This can be done on the Pharmacies and Manage Orders pages.
Once you select a cart from the menu, ALIS will automatically save your selection and assign the resident to the cart.
On the Pass Meds page, you will find a Med cart filter.
When you select one of the carts in the filter, the list of residents on the page will reduce to only the residents assigned to the cart.
- Then on the Pass Meds page for one of the residents, the resident navigation list at the top will also only contain the residents in the cart in the filter.
- Once you set the filter and get started passing meds, you won't have to return back to Pass Meds page to work on the next resident!
