ALIS 8.5 arrives Monday, January 29th, 2024 at 12 AM CT.

This release will result in downtime lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, taking place overnight on Monday 1/29 at approximately 12am CT.

Searchable Community Dropdowns

CRM Enhancements

Prospect Contacts will be improved for clarity, especially when a prospect is themselves their own Main Contact.

• New checkbox ‘Prospect is their own contact’ will remove the redundant contact details section when you add a new inquiry.
• The main Prospects page will show a ‘Prospect’ label below the contact name for any prospect who is their own main contact.
• Prospects will have a Contact Preference, as will Residents.
• The Contact Type menu will be enhanced with a search and will sort the types either as relatives or professional contacts.

Room & Move-In Details on Prospect Profiles will include fields for Apartment Sold Rate and Additional Details. Contact us for help setting up the Apartment Sold Rate field as a requirement when completing move-in related tasks!

This new field will appear on your move-in related Billing Center events to assist communication between your sales and billing teams.

Email Templates will include greater customizability with the ability to copy and paste dynamic recipient and community details into your emails.

New Achieved Tasks filter will allow your team to find leads based on which tasks have been completed.

Marketing Status options will change to ‘Undisclosed’, ‘Opted In’, and ‘Opted Out’.

Resident Compliance Document Dates

Updates to Resident Compliance will allow Administrators to edit Completed dates. If the item has an expiration date, this will automatically update based on your new Completed date.

Additionally the Resident Compliance Details report will contain columns for Last Updated dates.

Billing Center Events for Resident Leaves by Payer Type

In our last release, we updated the ALIS Billing Center so that Care Levels connected to Billing Items can suggest prorated credits to your billing team based on a resident’s length of On Leave status.

With next Monday’s release, we are adding functionality to accommodate more specific rules to this for different Payer Types (Private Pay, Medicaid, etc.).

This will help when you need ALIS to suggest changes to your resident charges in different patterns for different residents, such as these two scenarios:

1. Your Medicaid resident is On Leave, and for the entirety of the leave, they should not be invoiced for care charges.
2. Your Private Pay resident is On Leave for 10 days, and after 7 days they should not be invoiced for care charges.

Service Plan Addendums

• Your team will be able to create an addendum for a resident’s Service Plan when it isn’t necessary to create an entirely new Evaluation.

• Service Plan Addendums can be used to add services that are determined not to influence a resident’s Care Levels and Billing. In Evaluation settings, you’ll be able to restrict which services can be included on Addendums.

More Enhancements 

• Fields for CC and BCC email addresses will be consistently available for emails sent through ALIS, and they will display in Email History.

• On Resident profiles, the Health Profile section will contain some more options: the Additional Devices menu will include Body Alarm, and the Vision menu will include Blind.

• Mosque, Imam, Priest, and Transportation Provider will be added as Contact Types.

• The Resident Roster report will include resident contact email addresses when exported to Excel.

• Enhancements to our UKG integration will allow for sending staff hours per care level based on your Evaluation settings.

Bug Fixes

• Credits will no longer auto-apply to moved-out resident profiles.

• Prorated credits will display correctly on Impact Review modals and Billing Center pages.

• Fixes related to deleted compliance items.

• Fixes to Prospect Settings.

• Resident Report Cards will make information available to your team based on their Security Role.

• Your community’s physicians will be able to log into ALIS and E-Sign Physician Orders.

• You’ll be able to generate resident records in bulk for legal subpoenas, family inquiries, and more.
