ALIS 8.4 arrives Monday, December 11th, 2023 at 12 AM CT.

This release will result in downtime lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, taking place overnight on Monday 12/11 at approximately 12am CT.

Please plan for this downtime and inform your staff. If you have any questions on how to handle this downtime, please contact the Support Team at support@medtelligent.com or your account representative.

ALIS HQ Enhancements

With this release, you’ll be able to set current and future staff to access ALIS HQ with ease! Access to HQ can be enabled based on Security Roles for your whole community. Staff profiles will display their HQ access level.

HQ Dashboards will be categorized in the menu to make it easier to find what you need. These categories will align with the type of information you’re looking for:

• Resident Care

• Occupancy Census

• Prospects

• Maintenance/Housekeeping

• Staffing

• Community

• Risk Analysis

Additionally, Occupancy and Census Dashboards will have new names that better describe their contents!

Incident Report Tasks Enhancements

• In the Incident Center and on an Incident Report page, you’ll find new tasks filters to search for the Task name and Task Due Date.

• The number of tasks (represented as a ratio of completed tasks over total number of tasks) will change based on your Task search filter. This number will be a link to take you to the tasks section of the Incident Report!

Immunization Center Includes Shingles, RSV, and Tdap

Find the Shingles, RSV, and Tdap vaccines available for you to record in the Immunization Center and on Resident and Staff profiles.

A new Print button will be available in the Immunizations sections on Resident and Staff profiles to allow you to quickly export their vaccine records!

Impact Review for Resident Leaves

If your Care Levels are connected to Billing Items, the ALIS Billing Center can suggest prorated care charge credits to your billing team based on a resident’s length of On Leave status. This will help in two scenarios:

1. You have a resident who is On Leave for a certain number of days, after which they should not be invoiced for care charges.

2. Your resident returns from leave and needs their care charges to resume billing.

Restrict Staff Changes to Care Items

• New Security Role permission will allow us to determine which staff can edit care item tasks on resident Care Plans.

• Specific Care Items can have this restriction, or you can restrict all Care Items.

New UKG Integration

This new integration will allow you to sync your staff records to ALIS!

More Enhancements 

• ICD-10 Codes will be updated to 2024 ICD-10-CM for the new year.

• Care Plan Recommendations updates will include bug fixes and clearer orientation of the Review Plan tab and Publish button.

• The App Store will be categorized by which integrations are installed for your organization, which are available, and which are still in progress. You’ll be able find more information about each integration from this page.

• Resident Nicknames will display throughout Pass Meds and Care Tracking pages.

• New Alert for Prospect Note Created.

• For residents who were WelcomeHome prospects, sales details captured within WelcomeHome will display at the tops of their ALIS profiles.

✨Coming in 2024

• Your community’s physicians will be able to log into ALIS and E-Sign Physician Orders.

• You’ll be able to generate resident records in bulk for legal subpoenas, family inquiries, and more.
