ALIS 8.3 arrives Monday, October 30th, 2023 at 12 AM CT.

This release will result in downtime lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, taking place overnight on Monday 10/30 at approximately 12am CT.

Please plan for this downtime and inform your staff. If you have any questions on how to handle this downtime, please contact the Support Team at support@medtelligent.com or your account representative.

Improved Payer Profile Setup

All payer-related information can be added together on the same page when you are creating a new contact.

No longer will you need to take an additional step to enable recurring payments once ACH or credit card payment information is entered! The “Use for Recurring Payments” checkbox is automatically selected when you add their payment method.

CRM Task Enhancements

• We can set ALIS to require a Financial Move-In Date when Move-In tasks are completed. This will help streamline communication between teams!
• Tasks can be set up with labels such as Move-In, Tour, Deposit, and Assessment to allow for more in-depth reporting in ALIS HQ.

Create a New Contact on the Process Order Page

When you add a new order to a resident’s chart in Pharmacies, you’ll be able to create a new Prescriber Contact without leaving the page.

Service Disruption Messages

If there are any service disruptions (slowness, errors, etc.), you may see a status message on the affected page. You can click Learn More to read details about timing and other related messages.

Resident Monitoring Enhancements

• Improved layout of the Resident Monitoring page includes options to View Care Plan and Start New Evaluation.

• You can set custom start and end dates for Monitoring.

Monitored residents will display a Monitoring label above their photos throughout ALIS.

Vitals Checks and Other Improvements for Evaluations

A new question type allows you to record vitals checks within the evaluation that can be reportable like other vitals records recorded in ALIS. Contact us to set up your evaluation to include this new feature!

• “Completed By” information will no longer appear on Evaluation and Service Plan documents.

• Evaluation and Service Plan documents will include role labels for signers.

More Enhancements 

• Observations notes character limit is increased from 4000 to 5000 characters.
• Psychotropic drugs can be added in Medication Settings so they will be automatically labeled when orders are added to resident MARs.
• Merging Prospects will now include more information: Demographics, Health Profile, and Compliance Documents.

• Setting staff email addresses for Alerts will populate their email addresses to their profiles.
• Bug fixes for Med Changes Report, Payment Receipts Report, and Resident Diet Roster Report.
• Ability to auto-apply late fees to invoices.
• New Rent Roll columns for “Care Last Month” and “Care 2 Months Ago”.

• Support for Security Deposits to export to your general ledger, Security Deposit receipts, and a new Security Deposits report.
• Integration to UKG to help you synchronize your staff records.
