ALIS 8.2 arrives Monday, September 11th, 2023 at 12 AM CT.
This release will result in downtime lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, taking place overnight on Monday 9/11 at approximately 12am CT.

Prospect Duplicates and Merging
With this release, ALIS will help you detect potential duplicate records before you create them!
Creating and Editing Prospects is getting a new look. As you fill out the names, phone numbers, and email addresses, ALIS will display warning of possible duplicates.
If a duplicate is created at any point in the process, those who can Manage Prospects will also be able to Merge them. This will allow you to review differences between two records, decide to copy information from one to another, and then delete one of the records.
Care Plan Draft Improvements

After you complete a Service Plan, the tasks on your Draft Care Plan may show two new labels: Schedule Updated or Care Plan Addition. No longer will you see other labels here.

Draft Care Plans will not retain older care items that were associated with previous Service Plans. If an item was added manually on a previous version of the Care Plan, it will remain with the label Care Plan Addition.
Compliance Items in Care Tracking
You can now associate any Resident Compliance Item with any Care Item!
This allows your teams to complete Skin Assessment documents during shower tasks without having to leave the Care Tracking page.

eMAR-Related Improvements

The Medication Exceptions List option “Medication Not Available” can now display on your Daily Stand Up report. Contact us if you would like to set up the Medication Exceptions List for your med pass!

For teams who utilize Refill Requests, your teams can now mark previous requests as ‘Filled’ from the Pass Meds page.

For teams who Check In Orders with barcode scanners, the Orders Not Checked section will filter out Discontinued Orders and any orders not liked to your pharmacy.

Improved functionality with Booster orders coming from your pharmacy.
New Resident Profile Details: Food Preferences and Pronouns
Food Preferences is a new section within the Resident Health Profile, and can also be completed on your ALIS Evaluation. Details you save to this section will be included in your Health Profile and Resident Diet Roster reports.
Pronouns is a new setting we can turn on for you. This is not on by default!

Once enabled, you will have the option to select pronouns for each resident in the Basic Information section of their profile.

These pronouns will display near the resident’s name on your medications and care pages, and on the Facesheet and most other documents.
Easier Alerts Setup
You can now set alerts preferences based on staff Security Roles! You can also set in bulk how the staff will receive the alerts, whether via email or text message.
When staff are missing email addresses or phone numbers in their profiles, you’ll see banners on the profile to prompt you to complete these details in order to receive their alerts.
Billing Enhancements

Payment Date Preferences will now be available for Check and Cash payments.

You will find an updated sliding pane for recording bulk checks and all payments in the Payment Center.

You can set up multiple GL Discount Account #s for your billing items. This allows your billing team to select the appropriate account for discounts based on short-term or long-term discounts.

New Region filter on your Collections page.

New Recorded Care Changes Report shows you when staff have Reset or Edited recorded tasks on the Care Tracking page.

New Applicant & Resident Checklist Report helps you see which details ALIS is missing. Contact us for help setting up the customizable Resident Checklist feature to help your team keep track of all the details you need!

Your team will be able to reset forgotten passwords via text message if they have a mobile number added to their account profile.

Care Tracking will be better optimized for tablets and mobile devices.

Welcome Home integrations will send more information back to Welcome Home. These are financial move-in and move-out dates, evaluation and service plan completed dates, product types, care levels, care points, care fees, service plan comments, and manually updated Prospect IDs.
