ALIS Connect is a secure portal that keeps families connected with their loved one’s community. By providing real-time access to health information, billing, and social updates, ALIS Connect keeps users informed and engaged. This guide is intended as a resource for a family member and provides an overview of the process of registering their account and navigating the portal.

For community staff:
Click Print Article above, select Save as PDF, and save the file to your computer. You can then print or email this PDF as an attachment to your resident contacts.

Step 1 - Register via email
Using the ALIS Connect portal begins with a registration email sent by the community.

Check your Inbox: Look for an email invitation to join ALIS Connect.
Gmail Users: If you do not see the email, first check your Promotions folder, as it may have been auto-sorted there.

Accept the Invitation: Open the email and click the Accept Invitation button.
For security purposes, this link expires 30 days after receiving the email. If you do not accept the invitation within the 30 days and still want to register, contact the community's administrator and ask them to send you a new link.
Create a Password: You will be directed to a secure page to create your personal password. Once your password is set, you will be navigated to the login screen.
Step 2 - Log in to the ALIS Connect website
Go to alisconnect.com (or the specific URL from the above registration steps). We recommend saving this page to your browser’s bookmarks or favorites for easy access in the future.
Enter your email address. (This is the same email address that was used during registration, and it functions as your username.)
Enter your password. (This is the password you created during registration.)
Click Log In.
Step 3 - Navigate the ALIS Connect Website
Through the ALIS Connect website, you can view important updates, access health and billing information, and stay engaged with your loved one's community life—all from your computer or mobile device.
Once you have have registered and logged in, you will be able to see the basic contact details of the community, and then any additional information the community team has added to your User Profile.
Dashboard Navigation

Top Navigation bar tools:
- Home - Click this button from any page in ALIS Connect to go back to this main Dashboard.
- Switch Resident - This dropdown menu will be available to you if you have access to multiple residents' account information. To view all of your connections in one Dashboard view, click the down arrow and then View All Connections.
- Help - Click this for a page with FAQs that share answers about better navigating ALIS Connect.
- My Account - Click this to edit your personal contact details, reset your email and password, and change email subscription preference. See the below My Account section for more information.

Social, Message, Health, and Billing icons: Clicking on any of these icons takes you to a new page where you can then easily navigate between the different sections.

Note that the Dashboard icons available to you will depend on your assigned user profile. For assistance with updating your ALIS Connect access, contact your community administrator.
My Account
Use the My Account icon or top navigation bar tool to make updates to your personal contact details, login information, and email subscription preferences.
Personal Information
- Click Edit and then fill out the optional fields. Note that any new information added or changed will automatically update in ALIS so that the community has immediate access to your most up-to-date or preferred contact details.
Account Access
- Click Change Email or Change Password to update your login information. If you change your associated email address here, it will also automatically update in ALIS.
Subscription
- Click Subscribe/Unsubscribe to change your preferences. The email notifications will be based on the type of user profile you have been assigned. For more information about what email notifications your user profile is subscribed to, contact your community administrator.
Social
View the social feed which contains community and/or resident-specific posts created by the community. The Photo Gallery, Activity Calendar, and Menu are all accessed here.
Message
Health
The information shown here will be based on your user profile access. Complete access comprises of a health profile overview (Health Information), the Current Evaluation and Service Plan PDF documents, and the active Routine or PRN Medications list.
Click on any of the View Information Sheet, View Evaluation/Service Plan PDF, View Medication List buttons to download or print the full details.
Billing
This section is where you can view invoices, statements and payment history.
If your loved one's community has set up direct bills pay through ALIS Connect, you will have the ability to easily add new payment methods (My Payment Methods tab) and pay bills from here. Be sure to communicate with the community about payment responsibility and timeline.
