The Emergency Packet is an easy-to-generate collection of documents that can be customized to meet your community's needs. This guide explains how to customize the documents to include in your packet.
Default Emergency Packet Documents
By default, your Emergency Packet includes the following:
- Facesheet - Current resident Facesheet (can be ALIS-generated or a custom document).
- Medication Administration Report (MAR) - Current month's MAR.
- Physician Orders - Current Routine, PRN , and Treatment orders found in Manage Orders.
- Immunizations Information - All vaccine information added to the Immunizations and Tests section of the resident's profile.
When you generate an Emergency Packet for a resident, these above documents will pull into a downloadable PDF as long as the information is currently contained on the resident profile. - In the Tags dropdown of the pop-up that appears, click Emergency. Then click Save to automatically enable these documents.
In order for compliance items tagged as "Emergency" to appear in the Emergency Packet, they must either be Uploaded or Filled Online and have the Complete status shown in the Compliance Summary section of the resident's profile.
Sort Order of Documents
To sort the order you would like all items to appear in the generated Emergency Packet PDF, click on an item to drag and drop the order of the documents.

If you need to remove any added Compliance Items from your Emergency Packet configuration, this must be done per individual document in the Compliance Configuration table.
- Click the checkbox to the left of any item that was tagged as "Emergency".

- In the pane that appears on the right, deselect "Emergency" in the Tags dropdown menu.
- Click Submit to save and automatically remove this item from the packet.
