This guide describes what each red badge on your Dashboard icons signify. Understanding these notifications will allow you to take the necessary actions to resolve the badges.
People/Residents
All Residents - This red badge will appear when there are new Incoming Residents (i.e. the individual has changed from being a Prospect to an Incoming Resident). Performing the Move In process for the incoming residents will lower/remove the red badge.
Monitored Residents - This red badge indicates that there are residents who are marked for monitoring. If the resident is being counted here, their monitoring period is either still active, or has passed its end date and requires review. The red badge icon will go away once all monitoring of residents has ended.
Move-Ins -
Alerts
Alert Center- A red badge here means that there are unread Alerts from the last 24 hours. Viewing the Alert center and marking the alerts as read will manually remove the red badge.
Observation Center - The number in the red badge here indicates that new Observations have been created. Visiting the Observation Center will remove the red badge.
Community Tasks -
Meds
Administer PRNs - A red badge here means there are PRNs that have pending outcomes that need to be recorded. Recording the Outcomes for the PRN's will make this badge go away,
Bulk Vitals - The red badge appears here when there are overdue vitals than can be recorded in bulk. The Recording the vitals will make the number go down or the red badge to no longer display.
Pass Meds - The red badge here indicates how many meds are outstanding from the current med pass window and previous two med pass windows. Passing the meds will cause the number to go down, or no longer display.
Pharmacies - The red badge here indicates the number of unprocessed pharmacy messages for the community. This includes Incoming Orders and Incoming Residents. Processing the pharmacy messages will cause the number to go down, or no longer display.
Scheduled Vitals - A red badge here means that there are past and current unrecorded vitals as well as significant variances in recorded vitals. Recording past and current vitals, as well as reconciling any variances will make the number go down or cause the red badge to go away.
Care
Care Tracking - The red badge here displays the total number of incomplete tasks from the "previous shift", incomplete tasks from the "current shift" that are assigned to you, and incomplete tasks from the "current shift" that are unassigned. Recording the assigned or overdue care tasks, or assigning out unassigned tasks will cause this number to reduce, and eventually remove the red badge.
Evaluation Center - The red badge here indicates that there are Applicants without an evaluation, require reevaluation, and Residents whose evaluations are Past Due. Conducting the evaluations will make the red badge go away.
Billing
Billing Center - The red badge here displays a count of how many Billing Events need attention or need to be processed. Processing and resolving the Billing Events will reduce the number and eventually make the red badge no longer display.
Core Modules
Approval Center - The red badge icon and number indicates that there are billing actions that require review and approval. Resolving those billing actions will cause the number to go down and the red badge to go away.
Connect Center - The red badge here indicates that you have received new messages from ALIS Connect. Review the messages and respond accordingly to make this badge go away.
Document Center - The red badge here indicates that new documents have arrived in the Document Center and that the documents need to be filed. Filing the documents appropriately will cause the red badge to go away.
