A care list works like a daily to-do list for caregivers. It groups resident care items so staff can see and record the care due on their shift.
About Care Lists
What ALIS Calls a carelist is often referred to as an "assignment" at your community. The two terms describe the same thing: the grouping of resident care items that a caregiver is responsible for during a shift.
When you complete a Service Plan and/or build a resident's care plan, you assign each care item to a care list. This organizes care across all shifts and locations.
How Care Lists work
- Create and name your care lists in Care Settings. For example, "AM 1" or "Overnight Care."
- Assign resident care items to a care list as you build each resident's care plan.
- Each care list then gathers the assigned care items from all residents.
- Care lists appear by shift on the Care Tracking page.
- The individual care items appear on the Recording Care Outcomes page, where caregivers record the care they provide.
Create and name a care list
- Go to Settings > Care > Care tab.
- Scroll to Care Program Lists.
- Click +Add List to create a new care list for an existing shift.
