Logging into ALIS is intended to be easy and secure. If you are not able to login, try the following troubleshooting tips:
Verify your Company ID and URL
Check the format: Your URL should look like this: https://companyid.alisonline.com.
Remove "www": Ensure there is no "www." at the beginning of the address.
-
"Whoops!" Error: If you see a page that says "Whoops! That's an unknown community," the issue is likely the Company ID (the first part of the URL).
If you know your company ID, but are still having difficulty logging in, click the "Not your company?" on your main login page.
If you are unable to locate your Company ID, contact your administrator. If your administrator cannot find your Company ID, please contact ALIS Customer Success.
Clear Your Browser Cache
Clearing your cache helps remove outdated login information that may be causing errors. Follow the steps below to clear the cache in Google Chrome:
Click the three vertical dots icon at the top right corner of the browser.
Select Delete browsing data from the menu.
In the pop-up window, select the Time range drop-down and choose All time.
Ensure the box for "Cookies and other site data" is checked.
Click Delete data.
Login disabled because of incorrect login attempts
If you enter the wrong password more than eight (8) times, ALIS will automatically disable, or lock, your login for security purposes. To unlock your account, you must contact a staff member with Administrator permissions or our ALIS Customer Success Team to re-enable your login.
For Administrators: How to unlock a staff login

-
Click Change Password, and select one of the following options:
