The Float Care option in Care Tracking reschedules a task for the following day. When your team clicks Float Care for an item, you can expect to see the task on the same care list in 24 hours.
For items that are already scheduled daily, using the Float option does not create a duplicate the following day.
Find the Float Care link below any Care Item on the Record Care page.
When you click Float Care, remember to complete the documentation by clicking the green Record Care button at the top right of your page.
Setting
There is a setting to remove the option to Float Care.
In Settings>Care, you will find "Allow staff to float care to the next day" in the General tab where it can be enabled and disabled.
