It is common that you need specific language on Physician Orders (POs) to communicate community license or order refill policies. You can globally apply this text and customize signature lines for all residents' PO documents using the steps below.
Add a Disclaimer
- Click Settings at the top of your page in ALIS.
- Note: Settings are generally restricted to administrators.
- Click Medications to go to Medications Settings.
- Ensure you are on the first tab (labeled Medications), and scroll down to the section titled Physician Orders Disclaimer.
Type or paste your policy text into the field.
Click Save. This text will now appear on all resident PO documents.
Manage PO Signature Lines
In the Physician Orders Signature Lines section immediately below the section for the disclaimer, you can customize who needs to sign the documents:
To Remove a Signature Line: Click Options > Disable.
To Add a Signature Line: Click the +Add New Method button to create a space for other care team members or prescribers to sign.
