The Evacuation Report groups all residents by their specific Evacuation Status, ensuring your team has critical safety information organized and ready during an emergency. This report is easily downloadable directly from the All Residents page.
About the Evacuation Report
The Evacuation Report provides a clear, categorized view of your residents based on their specific safety needs.
Report Overview
Summary Table ("Report Filters"): Located at the top left of the report, this reference table displays the total number of Current Residents and a breakdown of residents by evacuation category (e.g., how many are "Independent" vs. how many need "Evacuation Assistance").

Grouped Tables: Residents are organized into distinct sections based on their assigned Evacuation Status.
Note: Evacuation statuses are fully customizable. The section headers in the report will match the statuses configured in Resident Settings.
Resident Information Displayed
Within each grouped table, every resident row displays key details for emergency response:
Floor, Room #: Based on your community's Floor Plan configuration and the resident's Room Assignment (in the Move In & Community Information section of the resident profile).
Evacuation Status: Displays with the resident's assigned status. Refer to the below Configure Evacuation Statuses section for customization steps.
Ambulation Status: Displays as "Ambulatory," "Non-Ambulatory," or "Bedridden" based on the status selected in the resident's Health Profile. These options are fixed, but notes can be added for clarification.
Uses Oxygen?: Displays as "Yes" or "No" depending on whether or not Oxygen is selected under the Additional Devices dropdown menu in the Health Profile.
Notes: Shows specific instructions entered in the Evacuation Notes and Ambulation Notes fields in the Health Profile (e.g., "Requires assistance with walker," "Locate nearest exit").
Configure Evacuation Statuses
Evacuation statuses can be customized to align with your community’s safety protocols. These settings are managed in Resident Settings, within the table titled Evacuation Statuses.
The options listed in this table determine the Evacuation dropdown menu selections available on each Resident Profile. Default statuses are provided, but you may disable existing options or add new ones as needed.
ALIS Default Settings
Standard (Non-Wisconsin): The default options are "Evacuation Assistance Needed" and "Independent."
Wisconsin Communities: If the community address is in Wisconsin, the default options are "Point of Rescue" and "Not Point of Rescue."
Add a New Evacuation Status
In the Evacuation Statuses table, click +Add New.
Type the new Evacuation Status in the Name field.
Click Save.
Copy Custom Statuses
Use the Copy All or Copy Selected buttons to replicate customized evacuation status lists across multiple environments, ensuring consistency across communities.
Update Resident Statuses
You can update a resident's evacuation, ambulation, and oxygen usage status individually or for the entire community in bulk.
Individual Update (Resident Profile)
Navigate to the Resident Profile.
Expand the Health Profile (blue bar).

Scroll to the 'Sensory, Functional, & Communication Limitations' section. Update the following fields as needed:
Select a status under the Ambulation dropdown and add any specific details in the Ambulation Notes field.
Select a status under the Evacuation dropdown menu and add any specific details in the Evacuation Notes field.
If the resident requires Oxygen, select Oxygen from the Additional Devices dropdown menu under the 'Assistive / Adaptive Devices' section on the right.
Scroll down and click Update to save your changes.
Bulk Update (Import Center)
Updating many residents' statuses at once requires use of the Import Center. Access to the Import Center requires specific security role permissions, and it is recommended to consult your Account Manager prior to use of the Import Center.
Navigate to the Import Center.
Click on the top right ALIS Data button.
In the Download ALIS Data pane that opens to the right, select your Community name the Resident Data import template. Click Download to download the excel spreadsheet.
Complete the necessary columns (e.g., Evacuation Status and Evacuation Notes) in the spreadsheet.
Upload your completed template to apply updates in bulk.

How to print the report
When initially updating resident Evacuation, Amublation, and Additional Devices (Oxygen) statuses, use the Evacuation Report to verify that a status has been assigned to every resident. This audit step helps ensure your community is fully prepared. Once completed, the Evacuation Report can be quickly downloaded with a single click during an emergency.
Follow these steps to download and print:
Navigate to the All Residents page.
Click the yellow Print Evacuation button near the top of the page.
A PDF file will automatically generate, allowing you to download and/or print.
