A Place for Mom (APFM) is a lead-generation service focused on the senior housing market. The ALIS integration to APFM enables APFM advisors to create a new ALIS Prospect and Main Contact record when a lead is interested in touring or learning more about the community.
Information sent from APFM
Over 100 data fields captured by the APFM advisor are available in ALIS as part of the Prospect record. The information displays as a Details section on the Prospects page for easy reference.
ALIS also receives and displays changes in status of the lead such as 'lost' or 'no longer interested'.
Merging Data and Preventing Duplicates
Before you begin using the integration, your ALIS onboarding team will help you merge all your existing prospects in ALIS with those to be sent by A Place for Mom.
It is necessary to create a policy for preventing duplicates with your APFM team. The ALIS search can be used to review if there are any duplicate records in ALIS.
If you find duplicates, we advise you contact your regional or ED on next steps.
- It is recommended that you enable the ALIS Alert "New prospect added". This way you can always be aware when your APFM advisors send leads to ALIS! Read this article for more information about setting up your alerts: How to Manage ALIS Alerts.
- With the integration, your community can only have one APFM Prospect Source, so you won't be able to retain your APFM advisors as individual referral sources.
- APFM data is not editable in ALIS and there is no way to manually link/unlink a record.
