About AI Insights
AI Insights adds a panel to the Prospect Profile that, with one click, writes a short, plain-language summary of what is happening with that prospect. Think of it as the read you'd get from an experienced sales colleague who just looked through the whole record for you.
It doesn't repeat the data you can already see on the page. Instead, it gives an at-a-glance read of what matters, flags any risks, and suggests what to do next, all based on the information already in the prospect's profile details, notes, tasks, contacts, and activity history.
How to Enable AI Insights
This feature is behind an entitlement and requires an ALIS team member to enable it.
To request access, contact your Account Manager and ask to be added to the AI Insights (AI Summaries) limited release program.
How to AI Insights
Once enabled, the AI Insights panel appears automatically at the top of the Prospect profile page and does not require additional security role permissions.
To generate Prospect AI Insights:
- Open any Prospect profile.
- Find the AI Insights panel just below the profile section.
- Click Generate. You'll see brief "Gathering" and "Analyzing" messages while it works, then the summary appears within a few seconds.
To get a fresh read after the record changes, click Regenerate.
What to Expect
The summary is organized into four short sections. The tone is intentionally plain and practical, written to support sales managers operations.
Summary
A quick narrative of who the prospect is and where things stand.
Key Observations
Notable details, including positive engagement signals such as an upcoming scheduled task or a completed/scheduled tour or home visit.
Risk Assessment
The main risk or engagement pattern, for example notes that have gone quiet (no new note in over two weeks).
Recommended Next Steps
Concrete suggestions, such as a specific follow-up (call, in-person, or email) or scheduling a tour, and when the signals warrant it, closing out or moving the prospect back a stage.
Feature Considerations
- Always verify before acting. Every summary carries the note "AI-generated content — verify before use." The AI works only from what's in the record and can miss or misread context, so treat it as a helpful starting point, not a final word.
- It won't predict outcomes or invent details. The feature is intentionally designed not to guess whether a prospect will convert, not to fabricate personality or life events, and not to draw conclusions from missing information.
- It reflects the current record. Empty fields are simply left out of the summaries. If information is incomplete, the summary will be too. Keeping notes, tasks, and contacts up to date produces a better read. Click Regenerate after you've made changes or any time you want an immediate fresh read.
