Weekly Occupancy Report

The Weekly Occupancy Report provides unit data filtered by two different date dimensions: date range and month-to-date. These filters must be set within a single month.

• Use this report to gather statistics for your entire portfolio.
• The Budget and Variance to Budget columns depend on the occupancy budget set on your community Floor Plans pages. Read this article for more information about setting occupancy budgets: Budget for Floor Plan Units.
• Move Out columns are impacted by the Hotel Rules setting. Read this article for more information about ALIS Hotel Rules: Hotel Rules.

Here are the calculations for each column of the report:

Range Move Ins

Sum of unit move-ins within the Date Range filter.

Range Move Outs

Sum of unit move-outs within the Date Range filter.

Range Net Gain

Sum of unit move-ins minus the total number of move-outs within the Date Range filter.

MTD Move Ins

Sum of unit move-ins from the 1st of the month until the MTD End Date filter.

MTD Move Outs

Sum of unit move-outs from the 1st of the month until the MTD End Date filter.

MTD Net Gain

Sum of unit move-ins minus the total number of move-outs from the 1st of the month until the MTD End Date filter.

Current Census

Sum of occupied units as of the MTD End Date filter.

Avg This Month

Mean of units occupied daily from the 1st of the month until the MTD End Date filter.

Budget

Projected budget for the filtered month as set on the Floor Plan Budget page.

Change vs Prior Month

Mean of units occupied daily from the 1st of the month until the MTD End Date filter, minus the Last Month Avg.

Variance to Budget

Mean of units occupied this month minus the budget.

Last Month Avg

Mean daily occupancy of the month prior to the filtered dates.

2 Months Ago Avg

Mean daily occupancy of two months prior to the filtered dates.

3 Months Ago Avg

Mean daily occupancy of three months prior to the filtered dates.

Unit Capacity

Sum of all units as set on the Floor Plan as of the MTD End Date filter.

Current Occupancy

Percentage of Unit Capacity occupied as of the MTD End Date filter. 

Vacant Units

Sum of vacant units as of the MTD End Date filter.
