When you review the Draft Plan in the Care section of the Resident Profile, the Care Items have labels to show you whether they were already on the resident's Care Plan before you completed their most recent Service Plan.
The Not Triggered label means the Care Item was on the resident's Care Plan before the most recent Service Plan was completed, and it was not captured on the most recent Service Plan.
Next Steps
When you see this label, you should decide whether this Care Item should be captured on the resident's Evaluation and Service Plan.
The best practice is for each Care Item (which indicates a service your care team provides) to be also captured on the Service Plan to be reviewed and signed by parties responsible for providing service and the resident or their family.
- You can go back to your Evaluation and review the relevant section to make sure you selected the correct answer to trigger the Care Item.
- Next it will require you to review the Service Plan again, and you should verify the item is accounted for there as well.
- After you complete the Service Plan with the relevant item, the Draft Care Plan should show the item without Not Triggered label.
