ALIS Statements show the account details for a resident or payer at the specific time they were generated. Statements are generated on-demand from the Statements page, accessed in the Billing menu.
You can preview the Statements before generating them, and they can be deleted and re-generated if necessary.
Click the Billing menu from the top of your screen and click Statements.
The first tab is All Statements, where you can view all existing statements based on the date range and other filters. It is easy to print them and delete them from here using the checkboxes on the left of the table and buttons above the table.
If there are no Statements to view, read on to the next section to preview and generate!

- Remember to click Refresh if you change the filters.
- Once you have the correct residents in view, select their checkbox on the left, and then click the button above the table to Preview Statement PDFs or Generate Statements. You can also click the Preview button to the right of their name to Preview a statement.
- The View Billing button to the right of someone's name takes you to the Billing section of the Resident Profile.
Statement Types
When you Preview or Generate statements, a pop-up requires you to choose a Statement Type.
Each one of the options will generate a document with separate statements for all enabled payers plus the resident themselves. Each payer statement is separated by page break in the document.
- Account Balance Forward shows all charges and other items for the selected date range for all enabled payers, with the total account balance on all the payer statements, regardless of who the item is charged to or paid by.
- Payer Balance Forward shows all charges and other items for the selected date range for all enabled payers, but each payer's statement will only include charges and items associated with the specific payer.
- Payer Open Items shows details about all outstanding charges on the account from earlier periods, plus the charges and other items for the current period. Each payer's statement will only include charges and items associated with the specific payer.
Statements on the Resident Profile
In the Billing section of the resident's profile, there is a blue bar for Statements. This table provides the basic information about each statement as well as the link to the statement file itself (click the Statement number or click the Options button>View to open the file).
You can adjust the sorted view of the table by clicking the Date and Statement column headings.
Click the Generate Statements button at the top left of the table to generate a statement from here.
