Often we need specific language to display on all resident Physician Orders documents in order to communicate community license policy and order refill policy. You may also need to add areas to these documents for prescribers and resident care team-members to sign.
Follow these steps to add these details on all of your residents' documents:
- Click Settings at the top right of your page in ALIS. This is most likely only accessible to administrators.
- Click Medications to go to Medications Settings. Stay in the first tab labeled Medications and scroll to about 3/4 of the way down the page to find Physician Orders Disclaimer.
- Type or paste your information here and click Save. This is all we have to do to add the text to all resident POs!
- For Signatures, you can click Options on the Nurse or Physician rows to disable them. To add more, click the +Add New Method button.
