Routine Care
Step 1: On your dashboard, click the Care Tracking icon.
Step 2: This page will always default to the current shift based on the time it is right now. On this page, locate your Care assignment list, and click Record Care.
Step 3: Filter your assignment list and use the Back button if you need to return to the Care Tracking landing page.
Step 4: Select the outcome (Completed/Not Completed, Yes/No, Custom Options) and then click the Record Care button at the top of the page.
PRN Care in Care Tracking
You have the option to record PRN Care from within the Care Tracking page.
Step 1: Scroll to the top of your assignment list, and click on “Record PRN Care.”
Step 2: Select the Resident Name, Care Item, Outcome, and update the date and time as needed.
PRN Care from the Dashboard
If you have navigated away from Care Tracking and need to record PRN Care, follow the steps below.
Step 1: On your dashboard, click the “Care Tracking” icon.
Step 2: Select the Resident Name, Care Item, Outcome, and update the date and time as needed.
Once you have recorded a PRN care item either from the Care Tracker or Dashboard icons, you will have a “PRN List” appear within your Care Tracking landing page. This will allow you to review and update the recorded PRN Care as needed.
Helpful Hints
- If you select Not Completed, Refused, or any type of exception, it is recommended to write an objective statement in the “Notes” text field.
- To edit or reset recorded care, click Show Recorded to view all tasks. “Edit” will allow you to adjust a previous entry (including notes!), and “Reset” will entirely erase and reset your previous entry.
