The Resident Checklist (also called the Applicant Checklist) displays on the applicant and resident profiles to help your team keep track of the completion of critical information. The items in the list can be customized to your community, and only administrators will be able to move in applicants without completing all items.
This feature must be turned on for your organization by the ALIS team. Please contact your onboarding manager, account manager, or ALIS Support to turn this on.
Settings
In Company Settings, you can decide which details you want to require in the checklist for each community. Once enabled for a community, click the Manage button to select the items. Most items here are self-descriptive. Here are a few items that might require more explanation:
- When Living Will is selected, this requires that you click Yes next to the words Living Will on the applicant's Basic Information section. This indicates that there exists a Living Will document.
- When Resident Agreement is selected, this requires that the resident have an Active Residency Agreement on file in ALIS. The Residency Agreements feature can be optionally enabled for your community to help you track residency/lease agreement details and renewals. Read this article for more information: Using the Residency Agreement Center.
- When Manage Orders is selected, this will require that at least one medication has been added to Manage Orders for the resident.
- For Contacts, the resident is required to have at least one contact with your selected Tags and/or Types.
- For Compliance Items, the resident is required to have at least one Completed version of each item you select from the list.
- For Recurring Charge, the resident is required to have at least one active Recurring Charge added to their profile.
Completing the checklist
Instead of just the resident's basic details displaying on the slide out panel on the profile, this will now display the list of items selected in the settings as described above.
- For any item that is already completed, a green checkbox to the left of the item will appear.
- The items are grouped into different headings such as Basic Information or Heath Profile, and the circles to the left of the headings will fill in blue when all items below it are completed.
- When you complete a requirement in the list by either filling information and clicking Update on the profile, or completing something such as a Residency Agreement or an Assessment elsewhere, the checkmarks will automatically appear on the checklist.
- Once all items in the list are completed, the entire checklist will disappear.
- Only users with administrator permissions will be able to move-in an applicant profile with an incomplete checklist.
- Checklists will appear on current resident profiles until all items in the list are completed.
